Electronic Arts shared new information on Star Wars: Squadrons. Among other things, it is about the ranked mode, in which you can climb the ranking list over the course of a season. In-game surgery will reset every eight weeks. With each new season, the cosmetic rewards will also change.
A week before the launch of Star Wars: Squadrons, the EA team revealed more details about the game. The focus is on the ranked mode, rewards and challenges. Several game modes are available at launch in Star Wars: Squadrons. This also includes a competitive mode with Fleet Battles, in which players can climb up a ranking list and unlock different ranks.
A season is called an operation in the game. Each season is eight weeks long. Before the start of a new operation, your rank in the Fleet Battles will also be reset. EA divides your skill into the following names:
- Galactic Ace
The creators also announced that players can no longer relegate once they have reached a higher rank. Also, at the end of the season, the rewards will be based on your highest rank. Each operation will also bring new cosmetic items that you can unlock through the challenges.
In addition to the rank in the Fleet Battles, there is also the personal level of the pilot. Up to level 40, you will unlock a new component for your star fighter here per level. The team would like to make it clear here, however, that you do not get stronger with a higher level, but simply have more options to choose from. You can find more details on EA's blog. Star Wars: Squadrons (buy now € 38.98 /€ 37.99 ) will be released on October 2, 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
