Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2

The second season of the series starts on October 30th Star Wars: The Mandalorian see via Disney +. The trailer gives some interesting pointers.

Attention! Here are potential spoilers!

At minute 0:49 a woman appears in the trailer. She is wearing a robe and appears to be watching the Mandalorian. Shortly afterwards, she mysteriously disappeared. The woman can be seen at the exact moment when the Jedi are mentioned. That implies that it could be a power user.

At first, we suspected it was a character played by actress Rosario Dawson – which could confirm a rumor surrounding the appearance of Ahsoka Tano. But meanwhile it turned out that it's not Rosario Dawson we're seeing, but wrestler Sasha Banks. She even confirmed that herself.

If it is a power user, that naturally raises questions. The Mandalorian is set around five years after the movie Star Wars: Episode 6 – Return of the Jedi. Luke Skywalker is – supposedly – the last Jedi. There is still Ahsoka Tano, but the woman in the trailer does not seem to be a Togruta, as neither horns, head tentacles nor skin markings can be seen. She looks more like a human.

Is this woman a jedi? If so, did she somehow survive the Imperial Purge and hide all this time, or is she a student of Luke Skywalker? It is also possible that it is an inquisitor who somehow managed to survive.

Of course, she could just as easily be someone gifted in power without being a member of the Jedi. Or the trailer is misleading us here and the woman may just be a bounty hunter or a spy for Moff Gideon. Star Wars fans are already speculating that it could be Sabine Wren from Star Wars: Rebels.

We have to be patient until October 30th. In the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, we'll find out who this person is.
