Disney is currently preparing to produce the six-part Star Wars series around Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is said that an actor is being sought for a very specific role.
Deborah Chow is currently working with Disney on a new one Starwars-Series. This is said to play eight years after Star Wars: Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith and revolve around the adventures of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Caution! Here are potential spoilers!
According to a rumor, Disney is currently looking for an actor to take on the role of young Luke Skywalker. After this rumor came into circulation, it was confirmed by another source – which does not mean anything. As long as Disney does not announce that an actor for Luke Skywalker is looking for, nothing is dry.
It is quite possible that a young Luke Skywalker will meet "Ben" Kenobi. After all, Luke seems to know (or at least heard of, the hermit) when he finds out that R2D2 is looking for him. The Jedi Master may have helped the boy out of trouble earlier and we will see this in the series. The series probably only shows how Kenobi watches over the young hatch from a distance.
It is not yet known when we will see the series around Obi-Wan Kenobi. The shooting will start this summer.
