A recent report has news on the upcoming Star Wars projects revealed at Disney +. Among other things, it was about the third season of The Mandalorian, which will probably take some time to complete.

According to Collider’s sources, filming for the new episodes is not scheduled to start until late 2021 or early 2022. Responsible for this are the productions of The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi, which require the Mandalorian film studio. At the moment, fans shouldn’t expect the third season before the end of 2022. Leading actor Pedro Pascal is also busy with another series. The actor also got the lead role as Joel in The Last of Us and will have to do that until June 2022. Since Pedro Pascal is not always under the armor of the Mandalorian when shooting, many scenes could be shot in advance and then dubbed.

Via Twitter Fennec actress Ming-Na Wen recently confirmed that filming of The Book of Boba Fett has been completed. According to the statements in the report, the new series is more likely to be “Mandalorian 2.5”, which will feature well-known characters. In the title role, fans can look forward to the return of Temuera Morrison. The Book of Boba Fett is scheduled to launch on Disney + in December 2021. New episodes of The Bad Batch are currently being published there on a weekly basis.
