It has been known for a long time that the game designer Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone is working flat out on the new update 1.5 for the farm simulation Stardew Valley. However, concrete details about the new content and features were in short supply – until now. Because recently Barone spoke up via Twitter to burst a small bomb.
As he announced in the tweet, the update will be 1.5 for Stardew Valley (buy now € 15.67 ) among other things offer a split-screen co-op mode. This way you will be able to play together with a friend using the same screen. As Barone explained a little later, the split-screen mode will be designed for up to four players at the same time on the PC. On other platforms this feature could be limited to two participants, but he did not give any further details in this regard.
In addition, Barone has published a screenshot of the split-screen mode, on which some particularly keen fans want to have discovered more details about Update 1.5. So you can look forward to farms in the desert, a new telephone booth, pretty torches and new boxes, among other things. According to the game designer, banana trees and previously unknown endgame content are also planned. However, there are just as few details about these as about the release date of Update 1.5. The release could be a bit long in coming, as Barone is also working on two more games from the Stardew Valley universe.
