A few days before the Microsoft and Bethesda press conference at E3, Bloomberg editor Jason Schreier rolled into one Podcast talked about Starfield, which has been making a name for itself with rumors over the past few months. According to Schreier, fans can look forward to the unveiling of Bethesda’s sci-fi title on Sunday. In addition, Starfield should already receive an exact release, which is apparently planned for the end of 2022.

Microsoft and Bethesda will host a joint E3 conference for the first time after the takeover. The event can be followed on June 13th from 7 p.m. in the live stream. However, Jason Schreier didn’t just talk about Starfield on the podcast. The presentations by Square Enix and Ubisoft were also mentioned. Last week there were rumors that the Eidos Montréal team would present a new project called Guardians of the Galaxy. Apparently there were some changes during development. According to Jason Schreier, it is no longer a live service game, but a classic action adventure.

Finally, the editor also spoke about Ubisoft’s current plans. In addition to a surprise game to be shown at E3 2021, the studio’s upcoming projects were also on the agenda. For example, the next Assassin’s Creed should be even bigger than the last published Valhalla. About Beyond Good and Evil 2, Schreier only said that the title is still in the early stages of development. The release should therefore still be a long way off. Further information on E3 2021 is available on our topic page.
