Only last week, after a long period of time, we were able to welcome a new number 1 in the Steam sales charts with the strategy-simulation-mix Dyson Sphere Program. He couldn't stay there too long, however, because in the meantime there was another change in the top spot. The multi-player survival game Valheim from the relatively small development studio Iron Gate, which only recently entered the early access phase, can now be found there. The previous number 1 – Dyson Sphere Program – has slipped to sixth place.
The Chinese open-world sandbox game Tale of Immortal continues to take second place, while the Complete Edition of Nioh 2 is also on the podium. The recently announced Total War: Warhammer 3 made it straight to fourth place due to an enormous rush in pre-orders. For a similar reason, the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect is currently in the top 10 of the Steam sales charts. Games like Skul: The Hero Slayer and Phasmophobia, meanwhile, had to say goodbye.
Incidentally, the level of sales achieved is decisive for the placement of the individual games in the Steam sales charts. The charts are weekly in one XML feed on Steam issued. The following charts relate to the period from February 1st to 7th, 2021. Here is an overview:
- 鬼谷 八荒. / Tale of Immortal
- Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition
- Pre-purchase Total War: Warhammer 3
- Valve Index VR Kit
- Dyson Sphere Program
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Pre-purchase Mass Effect Legendary Edition
