Only last week, the multiplayer survival game Valheim was able to secure the top spot in the Steam sales charts. However, that was by no means a flash in the pan, because the title of Iron Gate Studio is still on the square in the sun. Given the recent success numbers, that's no wonder. The Chinese open-world sandbox game Tale of Immortal, which continues to be popular and has to be content with second place, couldn't change that. Directly behind it comes Nioh 2 in the Complete Edition.
But what has happened in the stands behind it? The battle royale shooter Playerunknown's Battlegrounds was able to celebrate a successful comeback in the Steam sales charts after a short absence, which promoted him directly to fourth place. The survival game Rust also received a small boost and thus climbed a few ranks. However, the pre-order versions of Total War: Warhammer 3 and Mass Effect Legendary Edition had to say goodbye. The pirate MMO Sea of Thieves is celebrating its comeback in the top 10.
Incidentally, the amount of sales achieved is decisive for the placement of the individual games in the Steam sales charts. The charts are weekly in one XML feed on Steam issued. The following charts relate to the period from February 8th to 14th, 2021. Here is an overview:
- 鬼谷 八荒 – Tale of Immortal
- Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition
- Playerunknowns Battlegrounds
- Save 33% on Rust
- Valve Index VR Kit
- HuniePop 2: Double Date
- Cyberpunk 2077
