CD Projekt was able to increase the stock market value by an impressive 21,000 percent in this decade. No other company in Europe has succeeded. Especially the release of The Witcher 3 in 2015 caused a significant increase in the market value. Cyberpunk 2077 will be released next year.

Those responsible for CD Projekt can look back on a more than successful decade these days. According to a Bloomberg report, the company's stock market value has increased by as much as 21,000 percent in the past ten years. No other company in the Stoxx Europe 600 Index has made such a leap. At the moment, the value of the Polish studio is almost $ 7 billion. CD Projekt is thus even at the level of Ubisoft.

What is particularly impressive is the fact that Ubisoft publishes significantly more games than the CD Projekt team has done in recent years. The release of The Witcher 3 in particular has catapulted the company's value upwards. Investors at the developer studio are now looking forward to the release of Cyberpunk 2077, which will be released on April 16, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The project has been under development for many years and is currently one of the most anticipated titles for players in the coming year.

Only at the end of August did those responsible reveal that they will continue to rely on the worlds of The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 in the future. In the case of The Witcher, the rights with author Andrzej Sapkowski were even recently renewed after short disputes. After the release of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red wants to release another AAA title by the end of 2021.
