All Marvel’s Avengers players can look forward to the launch of the first major expansion today. The “War for Wakanda” will be the biggest update to date for the title and it will be available on all platforms completely free of charge. One of the highlights is the Black Panther, which is introduced as a playable superhero. There is also a full story campaign, the events of which take place around five years after the catastrophic A-Day at the beginning of Marvel’s Avengers.
Newbies can access the content of the expansion directly – without having to complete the main game first. The war for Wakanda can be selected in the main menu. In the new trailer, fans get a glimpse of the story that awaits you in the expansion. In addition to King T’Challa, Shuri, Okoye and Zawavari will also be among the most important characters in the story. In the original, Black Panther is set to music by Chris Judge, who is also known as the voice of Kratos from God of War.
With the jungle of Wakanda there is also a brand new location for Marvel’s Avengers. The capital Birnin Zana serves as a new base for your superheroes. Some new opponents also await you in the expansion. The villains are Klaw (Ulysses Klaue) and Crossbones (Brock Rumlow). Additional Drop Zone and Threat Sector missions are also part of War of Wakanda. Marvel’s Avengers is available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
