To visit the Super Nintendo World Park, you have to make the long journey to Japan, but this possibility will not arise for the time being due to the ongoing pandemic. Thanks to a creative Minecraft player, you can now experience the park from the comfort of your own home.

The new Super Nintendo World opening soon at Universal Studios Japan. Numerous attractions, shops and cafés as well as restaurants, an interactive game with bracelets and much more await you in the park – a colorful world that includes the popular characters of the franchise.

Because of the ongoing pandemic, it will probably take some time until you can experience it yourself, but Minecraft player Dippy22 makes it possible to experience the park at least in a virtual and blocky form.

Incidentally, Nintendo also gives you an official virtual tour of the park, if you prefer.

  • By the way: Minecraft is also available for the PlayStation 4.

Minecraft: a community project?

Dippy22 from Planet Minecraft is working on one 1: 1 replica of the new park. He's not finished with the mammoth project yet. According to the official website but it is closed around 45% completed. Areas like Toads Café, Yoshi's Adventure, the 1UP Factory and more have already been built.

It even seems to be a joint project, where Dippy22 encourages all experienced builders to to participate in the design of the park.
