Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Next DLC Fighter Announced!

from Christian Volynsky i.a. –
Today at 4 p.m. sharp, the second DLC fighter from Fighters Pass Vol. 2 was announced. As always, there were plenty of rumors in advance, but you are hardly ever sure. In the end, a character that has always been discussed made it into the coveted roster!

On June 30th, Nintendo and series creator Masahiro Sakurai started with Min Min from ARMS in Volume 2 of Fighters Pass. Today, just over three months later, the second fighter joins, this time from Minecraft. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is still one of the most successful games on the Nintendo Switch, so it's no wonder that every new announcement secures a spot in the spotlight. So far, a total of six DLC fighters have been released, with Joker from Persona 5, the heroes from Dragon Quest, Banjo & Kazooie, Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury, Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Min Min from ARMS, a pretty colorful group.

In the livestream, Sakurai now gave the seventh fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (buy now € 65.97 ) known. Unlike the first female fighter in Volume 2, the rumors in this case were limited. However, the fighter shown is a character that has always been discussed by fans: Steve from Minecraft! On October 3rd there will be a deeper insight into the mechanics around the block maker.

Not only Steve, but also Alex, Zombie and Enderman, like their colleagues who appeared before, come along with their very own repertoire of moves and tricks to be expected from them. They also present themselves with a suitable stage, which apparently adapts their appearance to one of four seasons.

According to the official Nintendo website, all fighters of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which can be purchased for € 29.99 in the eShop, will be released by December 31, 2021 at the latest, so there is still some time for one or the other surprise.
