Tales of Monkey Island returns on Steam and GOG.com

from André Linken
The episode adventure Tales of Monkey Island is making a comeback on Steam and GOG.com. The individual games had flown from the two online shops in 2018 due to the closure of Telltale Games. A discount campaign will take place to match the return.

In 2018, the developer studio Telltale Games had to close its doors. As a consequence, several of the team's games flew from the online shops of Steam and GOG: com – including the episode adventure Tales of Monkey Island. After a long wait, the game is now making a comeback.

So Tales of Monkey Island is now both on steam as well as at GOG.com ready to buy again. Incidentally, Athlon Games serves as the publisher for this comeback. It is the so-called Complete Edition, which comprises all five chapters of the adventure. Here is an overview of the games included:

  • Tales of Monkey Island
  • Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 2 – The Siege of Spinner Cay
  • Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 3 – Lair of the Leviathan
  • Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 4 – The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood
  • Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 5 – Rise of the Pirate God

In line with the return of the adventure, a discount campaign is currently taking place on both Steam and GOG.com. So you save at least 50 percent when you buy the Complete Edition of Tales of Monkey Island. You will receive all episodes for less than ten euros. However, you shouldn't take too much time with the purchase, because the campaign only runs until July 9, 2020 – i.e. until the next Thursday.
