Team Rocket's Jessie and James can also be found in Pokémon GO for the first time. The two coaches are currently hiding in a meowth balloon that is flying around in the sky of the game world as part of the event. In addition, there are two new crypto-shiny Pokémon in the mobile game: Rettan and Smogon. Niantic also announced new details about the weekly challenge of the current GO Fest.
A few days ago, the Niantic team released numerous Balloons from Team GO Rocket into the game world of Pokémon GO. From now on there will be another variant in the form of a meowth balloon. It hides two well-known characters that fans should not only know very well from the video games, but also from the anime series. Team Rocket's Jessie and James.
Jessie and James are celebrating their first appearance in the Niantic mobile game four years after the release of Pokémon GO. Just tap the meowth balloon when someone is around you to start the duel against the two coaches. Thanks to Jessie and James, there are now two more Crypto-Shiny Pokémon in the title. After Lapras, Smogon and Rettan are now on this list.
You get a chance to catch these crypto Pokémon after fighting the two trainers. You must defeat a total of six Pokémon in a duel with Jessie and James. You will first meet Jessie's Rettan, Sichlor and Kindwurm and then James' Smogon, Sniebel and Tanhel. Smogon and Rettan have been among the most famous Pokémon by Jessie and James for many years.
According to Niantic, Team GO Rocket has also taken on the weekly challenge for the GO Fest. Until July 15th at 10 p.m., coaches will increasingly meet Balloons from Team GO Rocket. Further Details can also be found on the website.
