The Microsoft team will be testing Xbox Cloud Gaming on additional platforms tomorrow. Select Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will receive an invitation to test it out on iOS and Windows 10 in the next few days. So far, the cloud feature is only available on Android devices. At the start, over 100 games from the Xbox Game Pass range are playable for participants in the cloud gaming test.
On the PC, invited players can access the service via Edge or Google Chrome. If you want to try out the games on an iPhone or iPad, you can do so using the Safari browser. The people in charge at Apple have recently repeatedly opposed game streaming offers. Therefore, Microsoft has to take a detour and first offer the offer via the browser for iOS.
Xbox Cloud Gaming titles can be played using a USB or Bluetooth controller. Touch controls are already available for more than 50 games. In the past few weeks, Microsoft has added new titles to the Xbox Cloud Gaming offering. These include highlights like Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Minecraft Dungeons, Ori and the Will of the Wisps and many more. Licensed accessories for mobile devices are now also available, with which you can plug your smartphone into a controller to make the gaming experience more convenient.
