The PS4 Pro is no longer made in Japan

According to GameWatch Sony has officially confirmed that the PS4 Pro will no longer run off the production lines in the future. In return, the PlayStation 5, which is still sold out, will from now on be produced via this.

All PS4 Pro models are affected, only those Standard version of the PS4 Slim with 500GB in Jet Black will continue to be produced. This means that the PS4 Pro has had its day after four years. With the release of the new PS5, however, this change is only logical.

PS4: Sony discontinues first models

As Eurogamer reported has a Japanese dealer announced that certain PS4 models will no longer be available from them in the future. Including a 500 GB and 1 TB version in Glacier White, 1 TB and 2 TB versions in Jet black and a 1 TB version of the PS4 Pro also in Glacier White.
