Anyone who has played Destiny 1 will probably sooner or later have set foot in the Glass Chamber, the first raid that ever took place in Destiny. And maybe you even defeated Atheon once. If not, then in Destiny 2 Season 14 you get the opportunity again: the Glass Chamber is finally coming back!

Those of you who regularly make the current Destiny 2 raids Deep Stone Crypt, The Last Wish or Garden of Redemption unsafe with your clan can look forward to new raid fodder with season 14. Because in May 2021, the Glass Chamber will return, the very first raid by Destiny, which let you investigate the devious Vex on Venus and set the boss Atheon on your neck. Joy! But since the Glass Chamber is already a well-known raid, the developers at Bungie have to come up with something new for the World First Race. Because Destiny veterans have a clear advantage in the race.

"The Glass Chamber will be released with both a competition mode in the first 24 hours and a race for World's First," writes Joe Blackburn in his post on the official website for Destiny 2. "Since this is a recap raid, we're going to make the World's First race a little different. Players who want to claim the belt will not only need to complete the raid, they will also have to complete a cured list of challenging triumphs." You can also expect a Grandmaster mode of the Glass Chamber, if maybe not for the duration of season 14. If you want to know how the Glass Chamber played in Destiny 1, we have a video for you here!

Destiny: The Glass Chamber – Video from the raid

Basically, you can expect similar mechanics from the opponents in the Glass Chamber as back then in Destiny 1, because basically the developers of Bungie are about to match the difficulty and the raid standards to those of Destiny 2 (buy now € 8.94 ) adapt.
