The action role-playing game Greedfall is actually one of those titles that PlayStation Plus members can download "for free" this January. However, some PlayStation Store customers got a nasty surprise when they wanted to download the game or, alternatively, buy it at the normal price. Because suddenly Greedfall cost 10,000 British pounds, which is the equivalent of a little more than 11,000 euros.

To prove this, several users at have published screenshots showing the five-digit price. Behind this, however, there is neither the greed on the part of the developers nor a usury on the part of the PlayStation Store. It's just a bug – albeit annoying – in the shop software. It also seems to appear primarily in the UK version of the store, although there are similar reports from other European countries and Israel. In any case, the normal price of 49.99 euros can currently be found in the German PlayStation Store.

Incidentally, it is not the first time that such obviously incorrect price information can be found in the store. As some Reddit users report, such errors have occurred several times in the past few months. Among other things, such moon prices were also temporarily displayed for the fighting game Street Fighter 5 and the action platformer Dead Cells. Even if it is clear that the information was incorrect, such errors are not only bizarre for customers, but also annoying. Sony has not yet issued a statement on this matter.
