The Last of Us 2: Impressive screenshots for the PS4 highlight – consolation patch for release postponement – current in games
Naughty Dog has indefinitely postponed The Last of Us Part 2. The developers cite logistical problems as the reason – probably due to the current corona crisis. As a small consolation, the developers have released many new screenshots from the potential PS4 highlight. With the image material you get once again impressions of the graphic abilities of the action adventure. You will also see the two protagonists Joel and Ellie. The screenshots also show a previously unknown character.
The Last of Us Part 2 will not be released on May 29th. Sony and Naughty Dog have postponed the release date of the action adventure. A new release date has not yet been determined: the potential PS4 highlight has been put on hold indefinitely. A statement published by Naughty Dog shows that the release originally planned for late May cannot be held due to logistical problems – probably due to the current corona crisis.
The developers say that the work on The Last of Us Part 2 for PS4 is almost complete. At the moment they are busy putting the finishing touches to the action adventure – and fixing a few more game errors. As a little consolation, Naughty Dog has released a swing of new screenshots. With the new picture material you get a further impression of the graphic abilities of the adventure.

The pictures were taken on a PS4 Pro. For example, you get to see the detailed surroundings – together with a panorama including effective sun rays. In addition, you take a look at the two protagonists Joel and Ellie. On one of the screenshots you also identify an apparently still unknown character – possibly an ally.
