The Mandalorian runs on German TV two days before Disney + starts

It's an unusual promotion to make Disney + appealing: ProSieben is broadcasting the first episode of The Mandalorian, two days before Disney's streaming service starts.

The Mandalorian is a Star Wars series that has already caused a stir in this country. This is mainly due to the alien being known as "Baby Yoda", who accompanies the title hero Mando through history.

Since November 2019, American subscribers can watch the new streaming service Disney + The Mandalorian, for which the series was produced exclusively. German fans of Star Wars still have to be patient until the end of March – From March 24th, the service will also start with us. If you want to secure access from day 1, you can pre-order an annual subscription for Disney + now.

The Mandalorian: Free TV premiere before Disney +

Anyone who still needs to be convinced of this has on Sunday March 22nd, the opportunity to at least take a look at The Mandalorian. Because on this day the television station ProSieben has a Star Wars Special in the program and will be in the frame at 8:15 p.m. to broadcast the first episode of The Mandalorian, even before Disney + is launched in Germany. A nifty move from Disney and ProSieben to cooperate here for increased attention. If you like the first episode and want to continue watching the series, you need a Disney + subscription.
