The Mon of the Spotlight Hour in October 2020

from Susanne Braun
The spotlight hour in Pokémon Go is always a good opportunity to grab one or the other Shiny; especially if the shiny version of the pocket monster was not previously available in Niantics. At the limelight hour in October 2020 you can look forward to Pikachu with a world travel and ash cap as well as Zwirrlicht and Shuppet as Shiny.

The spotlight hour takes place every Tuesday in Pokémon Go, a small mini-event that lasts for an hour and puts a pocket monster in the focus (i.e. in the spotlight). Meanwhile, another bonus is also active, from which the players of the Niantic collecting game can benefit. In October 2020, Pikachu will be in the spotlight of the spotlight hour twice in Pokémon Go, namely once with a world travel cap and once with the original cap.

Then, when we get closer to the end of the month and thus Halloween, it will be scary, because then you can look forward to Shuppet and Twisted Light, with the option of their Shiny variant. They've been around for a while in Pokémon Go, but apart from events, the two ghost Pokémon from the third generation are rarely seen. So use the spotlight hour! You can find out below which bonuses will be activated for the spotlight hours in October 2020.

  • At the October 6, 2020 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. World Travel Cap Pikachu is in the spotlight and you get double XP for catching Pokémon.
  • At the October 13, 2020 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Original Cap Pikachu is in the spotlight and you get twice as many candies for catching Pokémon.
  • At the October 20, 2020 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Shuppet is in the spotlight and you get twice as many candies for sending Pokémon. With luck you can catch Shuppet as Shiny.
  • At the October 27, 2020 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Twilight is in the spotlight and you'll earn twice as much XP for developing Pokémon. If you're lucky, you can get Zwirrlicht as Shiny.
