WIDESCREEN presents the latest theatrical releases on Thursday, November 7, 2019. Politically and extremely exciting, it is with "The Report," a production of Amazon Studios. The French refugee drama "The Miracle of Marseille" will also be launched here, with actress Gérard Depardieu. From the space of the German-language productions comes "Lara", the new strip of "Oh Boy" director Jan Ole Gerster, in the cinemas. Even documentaries will not be missing out this week, so it will be worth knowing and interesting to see Mario Adorf, visions of the future of our world, the latest breakthrough in genetic research and many other topics on the screen. However, we are especially looking forward to "Zombieland: Double keeps better" and "Midway – For Freedom".

Zombieland: Double keeps better
The scary-funny zombie adventure finally goes into the second round! Once again, Wichita (Emma Stone), Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) and Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) fight for their lives in an apocalyptic world. However, they are not only put to the test by zombies, but the cohesion of the group is at risk: Little Rock and Wichita burn through together, after which Tallahassee and Columbus are initially on their own, but then get to know another survivor: Madison ( Zoey Deutch). Finally, Wichita returns, because: Little Rock has disappeared along with a pothead. Together they set out to search.

Midway – For the freedom
The new history film by Roland Emmerich begins directly after the devastating surprise attack by the Japanese Air Force on the US naval base Pearl Harbor. The fronts between the US and Japan continue to harden until a member of the military intelligence service, Edwin Layton (Patrick Wilson) makes a discovery that could determine the outcome of the Pacific War: the Japanese want to attack the Midway Islands and then capture them. Now Admiral Chester W. Nimitz (Woody Harrelson) is to forestall the Japanese and set them a trap to prevent the catastrophe.
