In collaboration with Days of Wonder, Blizzard Entertainment announces a new board game. Small World of Warcraft combines Small World game mechanics with Blizzard's popular Warcraft universe.
The new board game in the Warcraft universe was originally introduced at BlizzCon 2019 and will be released in summer 2020. Various races of the Alliance and Horde – including orcs, dwarfs, trolls and worgen – are waiting for players in Azeroth – they are equipped with numerous special abilities.
WoW has also been around for a few years.
Small WoW: A combination of special skills
In Small World of Warcraft, players choose combinations of special abilities and races from the Warcraft universe, such as Portal Mage Pandaren or Herbalist Goblins, and vie for control of Azeroth. To help them gain dominance, players occupy legendary territories and try to take control of powerful artifacts. However, all empires will have to fall one day, so players must be ready to let a spread people go under and lead a new people to rule Azeroth.
Small World of Warcraft is a standalone game for 2 to 5 players, played in 40 to 80 minutes. It contains 16 game plans and a lot of accessories as well as a rule sheet for a team variant. The game is expected to be released in summer 2020 and should cost 59.99 euros.
