The gamescom opening night had a lot of Star Wars in the program. In addition to a DLC for The Sims 4, there was news about Squadrons and LEGO Star Wars continues.

The Sims 4

At the start of this year's gamescom, many first trailers could already be seen at the opening night. Star Wars in particular was very prominently represented, as DLC for The Sims 4, as a new LEGO game and as more material for Squadrons, the game around a Star Wars core element, space battles.

The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu

Already from September 8, 2020 is the new gameplay pack for The Sims 4. It goes to the planet Batuu, where players receive lightsabers and droids and can either join the resistance, the first order or the pirates. You can see prominent characters and themed objects for the home of your Sims in the first trailer:

Star Wars: Squadrons

One Insight into the single player mode was another trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons. The story takes place after the destruction of the second Death Star and accompanies the fight of the newly formed republic against the First Order. The trailer shows a mission on the part of the ex-imperials. The game will be released on October 2, 2020.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

You have to be patient for this Star Wars game, the LEGO adaptation of the Star Wars story will not continue until 2021. The Skywalker saga is not just about the new trilogy, but the story from all nine films. You can check out the look and gameplay in this trailer.

For Star Wars fans there is something going on in many genres in the near future. Whether LEGO, Sims or space battles, there is sure to be something for everyone and gamescom has only just started.
