The spotlight lesson focuses on Driftlon

Starting at 6 p.m. today, Pokémon GO's spotlight hour will be all about Driftlon. The spawn points are increased and you can find the Pokémon much more often.

Get the Pokémon Driftlon in the spotlight lesson

The spotlight lesson in Pokémon GO ends today at 7 p.m. and offers you additional benefits in addition to an increased spawn rate for Driftlon. This includes double XP for catching Pokémon. So you get at least 200 XP per captured monster. Therefore, the spotlight lesson is particularly worthwhile for everyone who wants to level quickly.

It is also possible to find the Shiny version of Driftlon. The iridescent version is gold, not purple. So keep your eyes open. It is then not only important to find the regular Driftlon, but also the Shiny variant. Driftlon currently also fits the Sinnoh event, which is currently taking place in Pokémon GO. This focuses on the 4th generation Pokémon. That means you will find more monsters from the Sinnoh region in raids, in the wilderness, in eggs and in quests. Including Driftlon. There are some interesting tasks to be mastered. For example, you have to defeat two Team GO Rocket bully, use four power-ups with Pokémon and win two raids to get interesting rewards. The event will take place until January 17th at 8 p.m. Then a new one starts, which focuses on the 3rd generation Pokémon.

But today is the spotlight hour. Go in search of the Driftlon, also in its shiny version, and take the double EP with you. Remember, Spotlight Lesson happens every Tuesday in Pokémon GO.
