Brazilian Twitch streamer Shayene "shAy" Victorio faces 116 years in prison, of which she would have to serve up to 30 years. The reason is that a few years ago she ran an online shop and shouldn't have sent her goods to customers.
The Brazilian Twitch-Streamer and professional player in Counter-Strike 1.6 and CS: GO Shayene "shAy" Victorio could be imprisoned for up to 30 years. In one trial, a court even sentenced her to 116 years in prison. In Brazil, a prison sentence may only last a maximum of 30 years. The enormously long time is determined so that there is basically no chance of a shortening of the prison time. Even with good leadership, she would have to stay in prison for 30 years.
116 years in prison
Shayene Victorio operated an online shop between 2013 and 2017 and is said to have defrauded 118 customers during this time. Despite payment, their orders were never delivered. The police reportedly found evidence in their emails identifying them as the mastermind and even named the victims by their names. Shayene Victorio's lawyer said that she would appeal the verdict. Because supposedly "shAys" ex-husband would have taken responsibility for the crime. She would also have been the victim of defamation. Furthermore, her lawyer believes that it is an "inhuman" judgment.
"ShAy" is now a successful influencer, streams daily and is in a relationship with former Brazilian national goalkeeper Jean Paulo Fernandes Filho. She is currently not under arrest and is not on the run, but is, according to her own statements, in a known place. If the appointment is unsuccessful, then 27-year-old Shayene Victorio will have to go to prison for 30 years.
