CD Project President Adam Kiciński said that after Cyberpunk 2077 was released, work on a new game in the Witcher series would begin. The concept of the RPG is even said to be there.

We get a new one The Witcher. The CD Projects President Adam Kiciński explained to the Polish business magazine Stooq.

The Witcher 4 is coming!

As soon as CD Projekt Red started working on the role play Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now for € 59.99) the team plans to continue seamlessly with The Witcher 4. According to Kiciński, there is even a concept for the game. The actual development work does not begin until Cyberpunk 2077 is completed.

Adam Kiciński also explained that CD Projekt Red currently serves two "worlds". One is Cyberpunk, the other The Witcher. Accordingly, all currently planned titles play in one of these worlds at the studio. A new brand is currently not planned. Kiciński also says that the new game is not called The Witcher 4. The trilogy ended with part 3. The head of CD Projekt Red did not reveal what the upcoming adventure is all about and whether we will once again embody Witcher Geralt.

Now you have to wait for the release of Cyberpunk 2077 on September 17th. Then it will be a while before we learn more about the next Witcher game.
