In the series adaptation of The Witcher, an actor became a real version of a video game character from a novel, now the real actor becomes a video game character. So the circle closes for Henry Cavill.
We have known that actor Henry Cavill has a passion for video games not only since the Netflix series The Witcher. He had previously told in various interviews how he missed a call from Zack Snyder with the role offer for Superman because he played World of Warcraft.
One of his absolute favorite games is Total War: Warhammer 2 and so it came as no surprise when Henry Cavill showed on Instagram what he likes to do during the corona lockdown: coloring in Warhammer figures.
His existence as a Warhammer fan was also not hidden from Creatve Assembly and so Henry got Cavill own character in the latest Total War: Warhammer 2-DLC. In The Warden and the Paunch he's as Cavill, Loremaster of Hoeth to find. Here is a screenshot of the character:
Although the name is obvious enough, Cavill's character still has it the property "White Wolf". Geralt of Riva is considered the White Wolf and the bonus against large enemies is also very appropriate for a monster hunter. Visually, it could have been a little more Cavill.
Henry Cavill is Superman, Geralt von Riva and can now also be a video game character. If you name another type of ice cream after him, this man has accomplished almost everything. For an apparently real Warhammer fan like Cavill, who claims to have played the game six times, it is surely a real pleasure to be a character in the game. The rest of us are patiently waiting for the second season of The Witcher.
