A remaster version of The Wonderful 101 is on the way for PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Thanks to a new Kickstarter campaign, the new edition of the then Wii U title will be released in April 2020. The campaign has raised over $ 1 million in less than 24 hours.
Developer studio Platinum Games has one on Monday Kickstarter campaign that would launch a remastered version of The Wonderful 101. The game was originally released exclusively for Wii U in 2013. For a long time, fans have wanted a new edition of the title for current platforms. Support for the Kickstarter campaign has now fulfilled this wish. The planned goal was reached after only a few hours.
It was less than 24 hours ago that the Platinum Games campaign was launched. In the meantime, the amount is already over 1 million US dollars. Only $ 50,000 was required for the release on Nintendo Switch. Because the other milestones of $ 250,000 and $ 500,000 have also been reached, the game will also be released for PC and PlayStation 4. An implementation for Xbox One was not planned from the outset. The remaster is due to appear in April.
Thanks to the milestone reached, there will also be a time attack mode for The Wonderful 101. The Kickstarter campaign will end on March 6, 2020. Further stretch goals include "Luka's First Mission", a completely new 2D sidescroller ($ 1.5 million) and a "Remix Soundtrack" ($ 1.75 million) with a very special guest. If the trend continues, these milestones will be reached very soon. You can find more details about the campaign at Kickstarter.
