Some secrets of the MCU, from Marvel Cinematic Universe, are better guarded than others: The fact that Spider-Man would meet villains from the other Spider-Man universes (and potentially Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Men) in Spider-Man: No Way Home was a long time ago the official confirmation almost clear.

Also interesting: Confirmed – Tom Holland remains in the MCU as Spider-Man

It was similar with Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. It was featured in the popular Netflix series of the same name by Daredevil Charlie Cox played and received a lot of praise and good reviews for it. A clear candidate for a real change to the MCU was not for a long time, because Daredevil, Jessica Jones and the other Netflix series are only half of the film universe due to legal problems and a dispute between Netflix and rights holder Disney.

In recent months, however, the credible rumors have increased, and now Marvel boss Kevin Feige has made it official: Charlie Cox is returning to the MCU as Daredevil. He revealed that to the Conversation with the website cinemablend. There he answered a corresponding question:

“If you should get to see Daredevil in future things, then yes, he would be played by Charlie Cox. In what form it will happen, how it will happen, when it will happen, we will see later.”

So the details are still unclear that Daredevil will play a role, but not anymore, be it a new series on Disney Plus, an appearance in a movie or even your own movie.

Another character from Daredevil has recently returned to the MCU: In the third episode of Hawkeye, an appearance by Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, played by Vincent D-Onofrio, is teased. Later this week, or in one of the remaining two episodes, it is likely to be revealed for good.

Who also wants to be part of the MCU: Keanu Reeves. The Hollywood star recently announced that there have been several conversations, but that an appearance has never been timely. But he definitely wants to portray a Marvel hero or villain at some point.
