On May 5, 2022, Thor: Love and Thunder, the next MCU film with actor Chris Hemsworth in the title role, will be released in the cinema. The actor has now revealed via Instagram that the shooting of Thor 4 has now officially ended. In the network, however, his published picture is currently causing a stir. Chris Hemsworth visibly worked hard for the film.

Obviously, the “Chubby Thor” known from Avengers: Endgame no longer plays a role in the new film. Instead, the actor shows his well-toned upper arms in the picture. Hemsworth humorously comments on his post: “Thor: Love and Thunder is in the can. It’s also a national ‘don’t give up’ day, so I figured – this super relaxed photo was appropriate.” Director Taika Waititi can also be seen in the picture, who will also be in front of the camera as Korg himself.

Some Marvel fans enjoyed themselves on Twitter, sharing some funny memes and comments on the toned Thor actor. You can find a few highlights here below.

Before we get to see Chris Hemsworth as Thor in the cinema, there are numerous other MCU films on the program. In July, the long film break at Marvel Studios will end with Black Widow. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home will follow later this year. In 2022, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will start before Thor 4.
