The endless dungeon Torghast should be one of the big new features in WoW Shadowlands. However, it no longer deserves this name. Because recently the developers gave it an end in the beta. You can still spend a lot of time in it – but it is no longer endless.
Actually Torghast was presented as an endless dungeon for WoW Shadowlands, in which you can fight your way up through the levels endlessly until your character runs out of breath at some point. With each level the opponents should get stronger until you have to surrender at some point. This mode has now been changed and the endless mode has been deleted. Instead, the winding corridors now also have an end – even if this will be much more difficult to reach than that of the normal areas.
The normal corridors that you unlock in the course of the endgame still have eight levels with six corridors each and are the source for Soul ashfrom which you forge your Legendarys. Most players will visit them weekly to collect that very resource.
The winding corridors originally had an infinite number of levels, but have now been changed. They currently also have eight levels, but each consist of 18 corridors. As with the normal corridors, you can also enter here directly with the level that you have already reached in a previous visit. This eliminates the long trips to Torghast that would otherwise have been absolutely necessary in order to reach very high levels.
But there is another big difference. The winding corridors pose a much greater challenge for the players because the level of difficulty increases significantly faster. Therefore, it is to be expected that you will hardly reach the upper levels at the beginning of Shadowlands. So ambitious players continue to be challenged – but with one goal in mind. And above all: without having to plan many hours until it gets really exciting. And if you don't feel like it, you don't have to. In the winding corridors there are mostly cosmetic rewards to dust off, as well as a little stygia.
