Last night Sega and Creative Assembly finally let the cat out of the bag and announced Total War: Warhammer 3, the next offshoot of the well-known strategy game series. The release is not planned for later this year, but the game is already on its first flight.
Because only a few hours after the unveiling, Total War: Warhammer 3 (buy now € 50.99 ) Place at the top of the daily updated Steam sales charts. This enabled it to prevail against equally strong competitors such as Valheim, Nioh 2: The Complete Edition and Dyson Sphere Program. The new Warhammer episode was still on the throne this morning, but has since been replaced by the Chinese high-flyer Tale of Immortal.
Despite this change in leadership, however, the whole affair shows very clearly that interest in Total War: Warhammer 3 already seems to be extreme. The fact that pre-orderers get access to another faction as a bonus should also have given the initial euphoria a little boost. So far, however, it is not known which people it will be. The developers of Creative Assembly don't want to reveal this – and many other details – until the next few weeks and months. What is certain, however, is that the campaign map should be at least twice as large as the "Eye of the Vortex" map from Total War: Warhammer 2. With regard to the size of the new game, fans shouldn't have to worry too much.
