In the new trailer for Marvel’s Avengers, the creators present the “takeover of the Red Room”. In this time-limited single player mode, players can compete against enemies and other dangers in five different HARM rooms. There are rewards and tons of experience points for completing the mission series. The update also introduces the new champion system in Marvel’s Avengers, with which you can strengthen your heroes even after the upper limit has been reached.

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have started the next event in Marvel’s Avengers with the “Takeover of the Red Room”. Until May 31, 2021, all players have the chance to compete against numerous enemies in several HARM rooms. The event is designed exclusively for single players and will also have its own series of missions. Depending on your character, the power level of the rooms scales between 1 and 120.

The makers have integrated various dangers into the five HARM rooms. This includes, for example, techno-lava, which immediately incapacitates heroes and enemies. The players should discover the structures of the individual rooms themselves, which is why the team does not want to reveal too much about the event. Soon, however, the studio would like to reveal some tips and tricks in their weekly blog that will help you “take over the Red Room”. For successful participation in the event, players will receive an exclusive animated name tag as well as loads of experience points.

With the update for Marvel’s Avengers, the revision of the brand new Champion system also comes into play. In the future, experience points that you receive after reaching the upper limit of level 50 will be converted into so-called champion XP. With every champion level reached there are permanent improvements for your hero. Marvel’s Avengers is available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and Stadia.
