The Niantic team launched the shiny version of Kaumalat in Pokémon GO, which is now one of the rarest Shinys in the mobile game. This is mainly because Kaumalat is generally very difficult to find. The chance of a community day with Kaumalat has also decreased somewhat due to the Shiny release.
Some Pokémon GO trainers were recently surprised with a shiny version of Kaumalat. On Twitter and in Reddit forum various players have reported their find. The Niantic team also subsequently confirmed that the shiny version of the Pokémon is now in the mobile game. However, since Kaumalat is generally one of the Pokémon that are very difficult to find, your chances of the extremely rare Shiny version should be even less.
Kaumalat was first sighted in the Sinnoh region and hatched from 10 km eggs in Pokémon GO or very rarely appears in the wild. In the Reddit forum, coaches also say that they have never encountered a chewing maly in the game. With the release of the Shiny version, trainers are now also worried that the Pokémon will no longer appear as part of a community day. Actually, new Shinys are only introduced in the mobile game when the event starts. Just a few days ago, we reported on the numerous in-game events in Pokémon GO that will take place in December alone.
