Resident Evil Re: Verse: Multiplayer Shooter Now in Open Beta

Resident Evil has been with fans for 25 years. To celebrate, Capcom is releasing the Multiplayer-Shooter Re:Verse, a game in which four to six players compete against each other in short five-minute rounds. As characters you have numerous familiar faces at your disposal and it is your task to eradicate your opponents as a “powerful bioweapon”.

For a day you have the opportunity to watch the game and play as much as you want. The open beta phase ends on April 22nd, 2021 at 8 a.m..

The test phase is open to everyone, but there are a few conditions: You must have a Capcom ID for which you are can register for free, and you must have the necessary hardware. According to Steam, however, the requirements are quite moderate:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (64 bit)
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 / Intel Core i5-7500
  • RAM: 8 GB RAM
  • RAM: AMD Radeon RX 560 with 4 GB VRAM / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 12

If you have already participated in one of the previous tests, you can jump right back into it. Unless, you need the official client. The download is possible on the supported platforms PlayStation, Xbox and Steam.
