After making several allegations of sexual harassment Ubisoft came, some employees had to leave the company and major reforms were announced. Another manager has now left the company.

Ubisoft continues to take action

Tommy François was a senior manager at Ubisoft and was released in June for alleged harassment. Now it is said that he left the company with immediate effect. Officially, there is no reason for his departure, but Samuel Horti from Business Insider magazine claims to have read an email from Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot informing the company's staff about the departure of Tommy François. According to insiders, he was released without severance pay, but this was not confirmed. He is said to be allowed to keep his shares in the company.

According to Yves Guillemot's email, the company continues to investigate sexual harassment. Tommy François is just one of several senior Ubisoft employees who have left the company as a result of these investigations. Manager Maxime Béland, PR Director Stone Chine and Chief Creative Officer Serge Hascöet also no longer work at Ubisoft. Ashraf Ismail, Assassin's Creed Valhalla's creative director, also resigned.

Yves Guillemot explained that the planned restructuring at Ubisoft should result in no one being bothered or disrespected at work. But it is a long way to go to achieve this.
