Shortly before the start of Season 2, Treyarch releases the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Update for download. Players have had access to the patch since this morning: Depending on the platform, a download of up to 30 gigabytes is required. With the patch you prepare yourself for the activation of the new season: The season starts on February 25th at 6 a.m. Treyarch intends to submit the specific patch notes for the new update later in the day. You will also see a new lobby look and a new cover picture. The season 2 patch for Call of Duty Warzone will also follow tomorrow. The downloads also start at around 6 a.m.

By the way: At the start of Season 2 you can play both the multiplayer and outbreak modes of Black Ops Cold War for free for one week.
