As early as January 2020, rumors were circulating that Cyberpunk 2077 was not running satisfactorily on the standard Xbox One model.
IGN is also said to have learned from independent sources in the vicinity of the development studio that the Xbox One and PS4 are responsible for the date in December. According to CD Projekt Red, there should really no longer be any further delays. Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now € 58.19 ) is currently planned for December 10, 2020. Thanks to backward compatibility, the title can also be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. In the distant future, however, a real next-gen implementation of Cyberpunk 2077 is planned. The upgrade will then be free for all existing owners of the game.
CEO Adam Kicinski also expects that there will be no additional delays in the expansions of Cyberpunk 2077. There are no details yet. A multiplayer mode for Cyberpunk 2077 is also on the way. Due to the new date, however, the game can no longer be nominated for this year's Game Awards.
