Oh Blizzard, what's going on now? First the hearts of most fans with BlizzCon 2019, thanks to the absence of a Diablo Immortal and the presence of a Diablo 4, not taken by storm, but at least a bit back, and now that: The release of Warcraft 3 Reforged is currently disappointing across the board. That shows not only that User rating of 2.3 on Metacritic, but also a blazing light subreddit, in which the fans with criticism do not hide behind the mountain. The problems include, among other things, performance drops, a visible graphic downgrade and the user interface known and modernized from the 2018 demo, as well as missing any trace of many promised features or cut scenes already shown.

You can easily see for yourself that the allegations regarding the optics and the interface are correct. The following video shows the differences between the demo 2018 shown and the release version.

Even the leaner user interface can no longer be found in the release version of Warcraft 3 Reforged, as a user in the Resetera forum shows with a screenshot.

Many players on reddit are now asking for a refund because false promises would have led to the purchase. Sure, there are of course graphical improvements compared to the original, but the fans have obviously imagined something else under a Warcraft 3 remaster. A player sums it up reddit aptly, albeit very harshly, because the majority of the community agrees with him and is just disappointed with Warcraft 3-Reforged.

"Reforged is crap
The font, the menus, the animations of the units, the colors, it just doesn't look good. The original is better. And I really tried to like this game. I was not influenced by the postponed release or sub-optimal beta tests, which showed that the game looked pretty bad and unpolished. I tried to keep hoping. I just logged in and feel only shame. Why did I allow Blizzard to make easy money on me? It's not really about the money, but I still don't want to spend it on rubbish like this. "

Only Blizzard can answer why Warcraft 3 Reforged came onto the market in this condition. We asked, but have not yet received an answer. Certainly not surprising if there is a fire in every corner of the developer's office. We will of course keep you up to date in this regard.

What about with you? Did you buy Warcraft 3 Reforged and are you disappointed as well? Or do you find the criticism excessive? What is going on with Blizzard in general? And what do you think of pre-game orders after the story? Let us know in the comments!

Where's the "Warcraft 3 Reforged" test? Why hasn't we published a test yet? Before today's release, we had no way to play single-player mode and thus started testing. Of course, the campaign would like to be tested extensively in order to make a fair judgment for you. Please be patient.
