Warcraft 3: Reforged – bugs have been fixed based on Reddit comments – game updates
The feedback from the testers from Blizzard's strategy remaster Warcraft 3: Reforged went straight into development. According to Blizzard, bugs were fixed directly from Reddit comments.
The start of Warcraft 3: Reforged was anything but good. The developers also had their hands full to be able to publish the game on time.
Feedback from beta testers is important
Production designer Kaeo Milker and lead artist Rob McNaughton said in an interview that they received feedback directly from Reddit, which meant that they basically fixed bugs directly from the Reddit comments.
"We received a lot of great feedback from the beta. It was very exciting for me," explains Milker. "At Blizzard, we attach great importance to betas, and that influences a lot – not only the validation of our services such as design and art – but of course a lot of technical things that we have to add."
Blizzard will continue to take player feedback into account in the future, which is why we can probably count on more betas for upcoming games. The feedback from the testers is very important and as you can see from Warcraft 3: Reforged, it is also implemented directly.
