The Slitherine team has announced a new game in the Warhammer universe. Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector will be released for the PC in May. An implementation for PS4 and Xbox One will follow in summer.
The new project is a turn-based strategy game that is currently being developed with Black Lab Games. Although there is no gameplay for the project in the trailer, the creators have now announced the first details about Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector. Among other things, fans can look forward to a campaign with 20 missions, the story of which is set after the "Devastation of Baal". Your goal is to work with Sergeant Carleon and his allies to uphold the honor of the Blood Angels and win the battle against the Tyranids on Baal Secundus. On February 9th at 6 p.m. the development team on Twitch will give an insight into Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector.
The strategy game also offers a skirmish mode in which you can put together your army, heroes and equipment according to your own wishes. You can choose from over 60 skills and 50 weapons. A new momentum system also brings special units into battle that can wreak havoc on the enemy. Just a few days ago, another title from the universe was announced with Total War: Warhammer 3, which will also appear in the course of the year.
We give all readers daily free news, articles, guides, videos and podcasts on their favorite games. So far we have financed this site through advertising and kept it as free of clickbaits or paid items as possible, but since COVID-19 this has become increasingly difficult. Many companies are cutting or cutting their advertising budgets for 2020. Budgets that we unfortunately have to rely on if we want to continue to offer PC games free of charge as usual in the future.
For this reason we turn to you now. You can support us as a PC Games supporter so that we can continue to offer our content in the usual form for free, without introducing a paywall or publishing clickbait news like "And you won't believe what happened next …" .
