CoD: Warzone – Tweet confirms assumptions for Season 5
Instead of the famous hint with the fence post, the official Call of Duty Twitter account wagged the entire fence to make it clear: the stadium will open for Season 5.
Last week, the start of the 5th season for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare was announced with small clips. The start date will be August 5th and there were also a few pointers regarding the content.
These mainly turned around a train that runs over the map and the opening of the big stadium in Verdansk. There has already been a lot of speculation about both innovations, at least as far as the stadium is concerned, the developers have almost confirmed the assumptions.
With a tweet, the CoD account searches for a name for the stadium and explains "Their doors are open to ideas".
Only a tweet with the following text would have been clearer:
The stadium in Verdansk opens on August 5th.
Beer: 8 euros
Currywurst: 12 euros (French fries for an additional charge of 5 euros)
Personalized tickets are not transferable.
The bag check at the entrance should be quite problematic, as absolutely everyone will bring a weapon into the stadium.
