Warzone now has solo mode for the lone wolves among you

Those who prefer to go into battle alone can do so in Call of Duty: Warzone since the current update. Modern Warfares Battle Royale now has a solo mode.

Last week's release of Call of Duty: Warzone was technically possible, to throw yourself out of the plane, but the opponents were still in two or three squads. That didn't make victory impossible, of course, but it is difficult for a lone fighter to consist of three players against a coordinated team.

If you want, Verdansk is now really the name of the game every man for himself. Unlike most Battle Royale titles, death in solo mode also means the end of the match because there are no teammates who can resuscitate. In Warzone, however, there is also the option of playing solo to come back into the game by winning the Gulag. The self-revive kits are also available.

Original message from March 13, 2020:

Whether on PS4, Xbox One or PC: In the Battle Royale of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, a maximum of 150 players are currently fighting. However, this number is expected to increase much further.

With 150 players per match, Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the larger Battle Royale offshoots. But developer Infinity Ward wants to go further: in conversation with USA Today Co-boss Patrick Kelly revealed that there will be another 50 players.

What is warzone? Take a look at the official trailer:

Infinity Ward is currently testing Warzone matches internally with 200 players, but a release seems to be in planning according to Kelly:

"In fact, I can tell you that we're already testing with 200 players. We'll publish that a little later. "

With these higher numbers of players, squad sizes may also grow. A maximum of three players can currently form a team, which should then be increased to four or even five players. Currently Inifinity Ward is still testing how the different squad sizes affect the game.

For a long time, the Battlefield series was known for this large number of players in a multiplayer shooter – even if in the case of Modern Warfare or Black Ops 4 the large numbers are limited to the Battle Royale mode. What do you think of Warzone's “big modes”? Write it in the comments.
