Warzone players get a free weekend in Modern Warfare multiplayer

Although Warzone is built into the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare client, only Battle Royale mode can be played for free. However, that changes this weekend.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's “regular” multiplayer can still only be played by buyers of the game. The Battle Royale mode Warzone is Free2Play. This weekend, Warzone players can also take a look at the multiplayer of Modern Warfare.

In the official announcement it says that from April 3rd to 6th via the Warzone lobby, the playlist "Stocked Up, Locked Down 24/7" is available to all players. The Maps Atlas Superstore and Shoot House can be played in this playlist. The available modes are Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed and Headquarters. Thanks to the double XP event, there is a worthwhile Call of Duty weekend.

The level progress from Warzone and Modern Warfare is linked, so you can start with your cosmetics and weapons from Warzone in the playlist and vice versa everything you keep in Modern Warfare even after the weekend.
