A year and a half ago, the developer studio inXile Entertainment announced the release of a remastered version of the role-playing classic Wasteland. The revised version of the role-playing classic is part of the long-available Wasteland 30th Anniversary Edition and was originally planned to be released in early 2019. As we now know, nothing came of it. But recently, the team finally announced a specific release date.

As the team revealed via Twitter, the remaster version of Wasteland is said to be (buy now) on February 25, 2020 for both PC and Xbox One. The game will then be available via Steam, GOG.com, the Windows Store and the Xbox Game Pass. The changes in the remaster version are primarily optical.
