The fight against the Lich King in WoW is one of the most impressive and great encounters of all shaft moves. If you don't just have to fight Arthas, because Tirion Fordring, who is actually allied with us, wants to fuck you, then something goes really wrong.
Although the Lich King was defeated for the first time in WoW over ten years ago, he still receives weekly visits from a large number of players. Whether because of the quest series about the legendary Shadowmourn ax, because of various transmog items or to finally get your hands on the iconic Mount Invincible – there are many reasons for a detour to the Icecrown Citadel.
Anyone who has visited the Lich King's living room one or the other time also knows Tirion Fordring. The paladin accompanies us up there and ultimately saves us from certain doom. Or at least that's how it should be. Because depending on which weapon we wield, Tirion also likes to see red and go for you!
For example, the player Outlaw-Hercules happens with his character Drinktea. He had to learn the hard way that Tirion can't stand it when someone Corrupted Ashbringer brings him close. The Blade of the Scarlet Highlord, which was removed from the game at the end of the classic Naxxrama, will automatically bring you a hateful reputation at the Argent Crusade as long as you wear it. Unfortunately, Tirion Fordring belongs to every faction and attacks you accordingly.
The good Tirion is no longer a particular danger for characters at maximum level – but you shouldn't kill him. Because in that case you can no longer complete the fight successfully and you have to throw yourself to your death, willy-nilly. You can see it in the video below at 11:00.
Well, which of you has the Corrupted Ashbringer and will go to the Lich King tonight and see if Tirion attacks him too?
