At the start of the new week we take a look at the first Steam sales charts for 2021. It quickly becomes clear that not too much has changed compared to the previous week. Accordingly, the badly battered role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 is still at the top. However, with the pirate MMO Sea of Thieves, there is now another pursuer, as the VR glasses Valve Index slipped to third place.
The rest of the top 10 also remained largely unchanged. The comeback of the survival game Rust, which even made it to fourth place, is definitely worth mentioning. At the same time, the shooter collection Halo: The Master Chief Collection had to say goodbye to the upper regions of the Steam sales charts. Otherwise, there are only a few rather insignificant shifts within the top 10 to report. You will look in vain for further newcomers.

We give all readers daily free news, articles, guides, videos and podcasts on their favorite games. So far we have financed this site through advertising and kept it as free of clickbaits or paid items as possible, but since COVID-19 this has become increasingly difficult. Many companies are cutting or cutting their advertising budgets for 2020. Budgets that we unfortunately have to rely on if we want to continue to offer PC games free of charge as usual in the future.
For this reason we turn to you now. As a PC Games supporter, you can support us so that we can continue to offer our content in the usual form for free without introducing a paywall or publishing clickbait news like "And you won't believe what happened next …" . Every contribution, large or small, is valuable.
