Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is expected to be released on November 17, 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Assassin's Creed: Valhalla rating speaks volumes

The ESRB gave Assassin's Creed: Valhalla a mature rating – The game can therefore only be purchased in North America from the age of 17. In the authority's report, this rating was based primarily on three factors: Violence, sexual acts and drug use in the form of hallucinogenic mushrooms depicted in detail.

The fighting in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is going to be pretty bloody, according to the report. In some cases, it is shown in detail the damage Eivor's blades do to the bodies of their enemies. The bones, organs and muscles of the opponent are affected in an X-ray view.

According to the report, the sexual acts primarily concern a mission in a brothel, in which context some women are shown topless in suggestive poses.

Players can also ingest apparently hallucinogenic mushrooms, which affect the perception of the world around them and lead to visual changes in the game.
