Will the smartphone hit soon receive a paid subscription service?

from David Martin
Pokémon Go could get a subscription service. During an analysis of the current update files, data miners came across clues that point to such a service for the in-game shop. They made their findings public via Reddit. However, it is currently unclear what exactly could be hiding behind it. It is possible that subscribers will receive special items and medals for Pokémon Go in the future. Fans also suspect that a Pokémon Go subscription could deactivate future advertising in the smartphone app.

Niantic seems to be preparing a subscription service for Pokémon Go, according to Dataminings. Fans have analyzed the current update files and found relevant information. On Reddit they made their find public made. Accordingly, the analysis shows that the in-game store is receiving a new subscription area. "We discovered clues a long time ago. In this version, however, a new subscription area was set up in the store," write the data miners in the Reddit post.

Solid details about the possible subscription service for Pokémon Go are currently unclear. In the mentioned Reddit thread, the players are skeptical, but are already speculating. Via a possible subscription to Pokémon Go, Niantic could, for example, distribute certain items and other bonuses to members – for example on a monthly basis. It would also be conceivable that the subscription could be linked to the monthly research. In addition, there is speculation as to whether advertising in Pokémon will be placed in the future and whether it could be switched off with a subscription.

Please note, however, that this is not confirmed information. Niantic has not yet commented on a subscription service in Pokémon Go. Until then, the information should be treated with caution.
